Step-by-Step Instructions #
A. Go to Operations
- From the main dashboard, navigate to the Operations module.
- Select “Manage calibration” under the Calibration card.
B. Select the gas detector to be bump tested.
- Use the search bar to find the gas detector on which you want to perform a bump test.
- Click the Record button on the right side of the instrument information to display the instrument status on the right side of the screen.
- Select External calibration if you want to upload a calibration certificate directly into the system.
- Enter the date on which the calibration was performed.
- Upload the document.
- Click the Record button to save your entry.
- Select Internal calibration if you want to start completing a calibration report using an auto-filled template associated with the instrument.
- Click on Start calibration report.
- Enter the date you received the instrument for calibration, the PO number, and the calibration location.
- Enter the calibration gas cylinder lot number and manually add the cylinder used for the calibration.
- Select the calibration result: Pass or Fail. You can modify the Notes section based on your findings.
- Enter the calibration date, then click the Submit for review button.
⚠️ NOTE : If the calibration passes, the certificate will be saved as a draft until the approver reviews and approves the document.
⚠️ NOTE : If the calibration fails, the instrument status will switch to maintenance mode until a new calibration or maintenance activity confirms that the instrument is in good working condition.
